DOMINICK GULLO, ESQ.
Background: Dominick Gullo Esq. graduated 5th in his Class from The City University of New York in 1991 earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Economics. He attended Brooklyn Law School earning his Juris Doctor in 1994. While matriculating at Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Gullo served two summer internships at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Gullo wrote for the Journal of Law and Policy and was a founding member of the Italian American Law Students Association at Brooklyn Law School. He authored IALSA’s first Constitution and By-Laws while serving as Chairman.
Government Work: Upon graduating Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Gullo entered the Kings County District Attorney’s Office as a line assistant in the Fall Class of 1994. As a young attorney, he had the good fortune to come under the tutelage of some of the best trial attorneys in our Country. Mr. Gullo quickly rose to Senior Trial Attorney in the DA’s Office and prosecuted cases ranging from DWI, domestic violence, sex crimes to complex homicides.
Private Practice: Ten years ago, Mr. Gullo chose to focus his practice in the field of matrimonial and family law. Mr. Gullo’s strong conviction to help people is invaluable whether you are divorcing, engaged in a custody and/or support battle or enforcing a prior judgment. These times often prove to be the lowest and most difficult in a person’s life. Mr. Gullo’s passion has helped him build a strong command of the law. This knowledge, combined with his skill as a trial attorney and former prosecutor make him a formidable opponent in and out of the courtroom.
Mr. Gullo co-founded Cassandra & Gullo, PLLC in 2010 with his former law school classmate Jennifer M. Cassandra, Esq. They combined their individual talents to form a successful law firm focusing primarily on Matrimonial, Divorce and Family Law. Mr. Gullo’s courtroom expertise makes him a fearsome adversary. His criminal experience as an ADA with domestic violence, sex crimes, assaults and orders of protection is invaluable in dealing with family law child custody matters and this expertise provides an edge most family law attorney’s lack.
Mr. Gullo is admitted to the Supreme Courts of the States of New York and New Jersey and the US District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Mr. Gullo is a member of various associations including the New York State Bar Association, Richmond County Bar Association, Kings County Criminal Bar Association and the Columbian Lawyers Association
